DIALOGUES
Motifs, colour and rhythm are present in all creative media from textiles to choreography, sculpture to poetry.
’Little Bird’ has engaged artists from many creative fields to contribute their thoughts on this subject as an ongoing dialogue. We want to discover the motivation in choosing specific motifs, colours and themes for creative works. Are these elements merely tools in the creation of a personal language? Do they have symbolic meaning? Are these choices the result of conscious thought or purely instinctive?
We want to understand how integral these issues are to people working in a variety of creative areas.
